Inter Milan manager Beppe Marotta has shown some interest in Arturo Vida, who has battled for regular match time at the Nou Camp this season.

“He’s a great player and is on our list, but it’s hard that Barcelona are willing to let him go,” said Marotta.

Coach Antonio Conte has requested Vidal, hoping to give him a bigger number of minutes than he’s getting at Barcelona. Anyway it appears to be outlandish for him to leave.

‘He’s an important player in world football and someone Antonio Conte and I have built a great friendship with.

‘We have great admiration for this player, but many teams would like to sign him.

‘Unfortunately he is a Barcelona player but, with some positive meetings, we might be able to think about it.’

“Arturo Vidal will not leave Barcelona,” added Marotta.

Vidal is currently prepared to leave Barcelona and Inter are his favoured aim in the January move window. He played for Inter manager Antonio Conte when the pair were getting a charge out of extraordinary accomplishment at Juventus while Marotta was likewise at the Turn club.

Barcelona, in turn, is keen on Lautaro Martinez.

“We’re Inter and we have no need to sell,” said Marotta, regarding that.
