Ilkay Gundogan and Mikayil Faye left the club in the summer transfer window. French defender Clement Lenglet is also leaving the club.
As per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 29-year-old defender Clement Lenglet will be joining Atletico Madrid for a season-long loan deal while extending his current contract for another year.

Report claims that player will extend his contract for one year until 2027. It will be allowing Catalan club to divide paying out his salary across a longer time period. He has been allowed to go on loan to another La Liga team that will cover a major part of his salary for this term.
Frenchman will complete his medical tomorrow and will be unveiled as new Atletico Madrid player. Federico Chiesa are also on their radar. Barcelona will now push for the new signing from the remaining fund.
