Club president Joan Laporta and several members of the sporting department have already discussed a possible one-year extension until June 2027.
However, the deal comes with a major condition: Lewandowski would need to accept a significant salary reduction.
Currently one of the club’s highest earners, he reportedly earns around €26 million gross per season.
While Barcelona push for continuity, opinions inside the club remain divided. Some executives believe this is the right time to refresh the squad and move on from the veteran striker.
