Barcelona club president Joan Laporta is talking with Xavi.
Qatari side Al Sadd have now issued a statement on its manager Xavi who is linked with Barcelona after the departure of Koeman from Camp Nou. The chances are pretty high as Barca is optimistic to find the Spanish international in their dugout before the winter transfer window.
La Blaugrana board is targeting the former Spanish international. Barca officially sacked Ronald Koeman after a disappointing defeat in the La Liga fixture. Sergi Barjuan has taken the interim charge for this weekend’s clash with Alaves.
Club president Joan Laporta is also talking with Xavi. His current contract at Al-Sadd will expire in June 2023. Al Sadd are unbeaten in season 2021/22 after seven games.
