Ansu Fati Prepared To Get Past Injury And Return Even Stronger

Ansu Fati isn’t about to let his third knee surgery discourage him.

Since November 7th, the Barcelona forward has been glued to the nursing table, overcoming a meniscus tear.

He has already undergone two surgeries but his recovery has not gone according to plan. After serious concerns of complications, it has been decided that a third surgery is necessary to reduce the swelling.

“A few years ago, I had a serious injury: a fractured tibia and fibula,” Ansu Fati wrote on Instagram. “I went almost a year without being able to play. There were many days of suffering and pain, but also a lot of learning; it helped me to appreciate small details.

“With my family and all the professionals who helped me at that time, I promised myself to keep going and work harder than ever to get back to doing what I love the most.

“Unfortunately, now I have to go through a similar situation, which I will face with the same mentality. I want to thank all those people who follow me and support me on a daily basis.

“Football is my life and no matter how many obstacles there are, I will always have the desire of continuing to fight for my dreams.”
