The former Arsenal man would like Dembele to prolong his stay.
Barcelona’s winter signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang want his teammate Ousmane Dembele to sign a new contract with Barcelona.
Dembele’s contract will expire in the summer and has not yet agreed on an extension. The former Arsenal man would like him to prolong his stay.
Aubameyang talked about Dembele’s future and said, “We’ve spoken about it but it will be his decision. “I would like him to stay for a year or two more. I am really happy playing with him.”
“He’s good, since I have arrived he’s training really well and doing well. He’s setting up goals. I didn’t have any doubts because I have known him for years. I provide the smiles because the most important thing is that he’s happy!”
Aubameyang has found the net six times for Barcelona since his arrival from Arsenal in January. He was speaking ahead of the game against Galatasaray in the Europa League.
“We’re thinking about ourselves and how we’re going to play. The key is to play with more rhythm and intensity to try and surprise them at the back,” he also added.
