It’s no secret that Barcelona needs to let go of players to make room for their next additions, including Marcus Rashford. Several players have already left, including Pablo Torre, Ansu Fati, and Alex Valle, but much more is required before the Catalans succeed.
Barcelona has identified a large number of candidates for sale in order to make room on their salary bill. Joan Garcia and Rashford could most likely be registered if Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and Andreas Christensen/Ronald Araujo left, although none of the three are currently on the verge of doing so.
Instead, Pau Victor is more likely to go since, once Rashford formally joins Barcelona, he will move farther down the hierarchy. The Catalans want him to go permanently, and given the interest in his skills, there is a good likelihood that this will happen.

The 23-year-old is conscious that he is not part of Barcelona’s plans under head coach Hansi Flick, and his job is also in jeopardy due to the addition of new players. After keeping a close eye on the forward’s circumstances, Valencia believes Carlos Corberan, the team’s head coach, will benefit from the Spanish forward’s adaptability and energy.
Deco, however, only intends to sell the player since Barcelona needs to generate revenue, and this strategy applies to all players who are not part of Flick’s long-term plans.
Although the two clubs’ meeting went well, Valencia was still worried that other teams would be interested in Victor. Due to financial limitations that are also hindering their transfer activities, the Spanish club will not be able to meet Barca’s asking price of £8 million ($11 million). Victor is forced to think about leaving since he knows he will have even fewer chances in the starting lineup with Rashford joining.
