In order to address a number of their issues, Barcelona is willing to trade Dani Olmo, and Tottenham has been connected to the offensive midfielder.

Fichajes claims that Barcelona is considering selling Dani Olmo after he has only played one season since joining in the summer of 2024. Last season, the Spanish offensive midfielder helped score 19 goals and put up respectable performances. Fermin Lopez’s ascent, however, could convince the Catalans to split apart because a sale might greatly benefit us.

Barcelona still needs to close a significant deal to clear their books and free up cash to lessen the pressure. When it comes to recruiting players and then registering them, the Catalan club has had some tumultuous summers since the issue still exists today.

Hansi Flick and the Blanchegrana are now deciding which players they wish to retain and which ones may be put up for sale. While many of us are assured of staying, others are seen as a chance to alleviate their issues.

Barcelona ready to cash in on 19 G/A star

Barcelona’s finances are still tight; therefore, in order to meet La Liga’s financial requirements and raise money for new players, the team hopes to make at least one significant sale this summer.

Olmo, who is estimated to be worth €60 million, is among the best choices. Barça has a strong negotiating position because his contract is set to expire in 2030, and they are unlikely to accept a sum that is significantly less than what they are asking for.

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur is in the lead in England, but Saudi Arabian teams have also shown interest and are prepared to make a large financial commitment.

Although Olmo, who finished the previous season with 12 goals and seven assists, would be losing a technically talented player, the sale would relieve financial strain and provide room for up-and-coming players.

The board believes that a move this summer makes financial and athletic sense.
