Barcelona are confident in securing Gavi and Ronald Araujo to new contracts. Both players are linked with some big clubs for the summer move.
Catalan giants don’t want to lose them as they want to offer them an extension until June 2027.
As per the report of Sport, the La Liga giants have been negotiating with them and the negotiations are advanced. Araujo needs more work because there are siren songs from Chelsea, and Man United – that oblige Barca to increase their offer.
Negotiations are down the line in the case of Gavi. He signed a B team contract in September 2020, until June 2023, with a release clause of 50m euros. He has agreed with Spanish giants a renewal bonus of around 2 million euros.
The Andalusian midfielder has participated in 26 of the 31 games this season. Both players have assured Xavi of their will to stay and Barca head considers the duo promising good for their future goals.
