The transfer of Julian Araujo, a defender for Barcelona, to AFC Bournemouth is almost complete. The right-back will join the Premier League team for €10 million (£8.4 million) after an agreement was reached with their La Liga rivals. Before joining LA Galaxy in 2018, Araujo a Mexican international who was born in the United States went through Barcelona’s U.S. academy. He played 28 games while on loan at La Liga team Las Palmas during the 2023–24 season after joining Barcelona in the summer of 2023. During his 13 appearances for his nation, he made his senior international debut for Mexico in 2021.
