According to Mundo Deportivo, Lionel Messi has been invited by Barcelona to the ceremony because he played with the two for the majority of his career.
Along with two farewell videos created by Barcelona, both players are anticipated to start the game and receive a guard of honour from their teammates. Regarding Messi’s participation, PSG’s match against Strasbourg is on July 27, so ideally the Barcelona legend may get approval from the team to attend Barcelona’s match on July 28.
