A fresh offer for Dani Olmo of RB Leipzig is allegedly being prepared by Barcelona while they await a definitive response from Nico Williams. Although he has not yet stated if he would be willing to leave the Basque Country for Barcelona, the Athletic Club star is Barca’s main target.
Frankfurt is reportedly receiving a fresh offer from Barcelona, and Fabrizio Romano suggests that Olmo is the team’s backup plan. One bid has previously been turned down by the Catalans. The Bundesliga team was reportedly not impressed with Barca’s original bid of €40 million, with an additional €20 million contingent upon certain conditions.
Though Olmo may wait for the Catalans, it is believed that he would love to return to Barcelona. Any transfer could be contingent on Williams’ situation.
Olmo Sets Barcelona a Deadline to Finalize His Transfer
By establishing a deadline for the Catalan club to complete his signing, Dani Olmo has placed a great deal of pressure on Barcelona officials; if not, he will stay with Leipzig. The player and Barcelona have achieved an agreement on all personal aspects, according to Catalan media, with the transfer money with the German club yet to be negotiated.
Olmo had reportedly received other alluring offers from prestigious teams like Manchester City and Bayern Munich, but he was keen to join Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo. On August 9, the day he returns to Leipzig for training following his vacation, the Spanish international is obviously keen to complete his transfer to Barcelona.
