Luis de la Fuente announced Gavi’s inclusion in his team on Friday for the World Cup qualifying matches against Turkey and Bulgaria in September.
The midfielder has made two appearances for Barcelona off the bench this season in La Liga, appearing at halftime in the team’s 3-2 comeback victory over Levante last Saturday and contributing to the team’s triumph against Mallorca on the first day of the season.
