According to Goal, the Catalan giants are following his situation.
The 22-year-old striker has found his top level in recent weeks but since arriving has never become key for Atletico head Diego Simeone. He has had some great performances but also spent time on the bench.
The Portuguese made 20 appearances in La Liga 2021/22 and netted six times. He also appeared in 5 Champions League ties.
His agent Jorge Mendes is working to get the 20-year-old out in the summer according to the report and believes he can play better at another club that suits him more.
It won’t be easy to convince Atletico, with the Portuguese their record signing. They don’t want to sell for now, but if they don’t get into the Champions League they might have to think about selling one of their star names.
