Barcelona offer Coutinho to Everton

FC Barcelona have offered the services of Philippe Coutinho to Everton.

The situation around Coutinho has deteriorated massively since the player left Liverpool. The Reds pulled in a profit close to £150 million on him but Barcelona have not been able to get the best out of the talented Brazilian.

Coutinho was played out of position repeatedly at Nou Camp leading to his poor form and having killed off his confidence early in his days, the player was shipped out on loan to Bayern Munich.

At Munich, Coutinho was back to his closest imperial football however, new Bayern boss Flick prefered a more industrial direct team and Coutinho was yet again left out on the bench.

With Bayern now having refused to sign the player, Barcelona have a massive wage to pay but cannot sell him either for cheap so they can recover the money spent on him.

The latest reports are confirming that the club want to send him on loan to Everton, who are building a team to challenge for European spots at the moment and having a player of Coutinho’s calibre would be massive for them.

There are also the likes of Chelsea who were interested in him but his asking price put off all bidders.
