Barcelona have identified Azpilicueta and Christensen as possible freebies next year.
Barcelona are targeting Chelsea’s Bosman pair Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta.
Catalan’s debt stands at more than £1billion, and the club was forced to resort to the free-agent market with the signings of Sergio Aguero, Memphis Depay and Eric Garcia this summer.
According to The Sun, the Barca have identified Azpilicueta and Christensen as possible freebies next year. These two defenders are the vital players of the Blues and Chelsea could make a move to tie them down with the offer of new contracts before the end of the season.
Azpilicueta is the skipper of Chelsea and his value to the club remains high. Meanwhile, Christensen also provides a similar role and he is a key member of Thomas Tuchel’s setup. If Antonio Rudiger finds his future in Spain then Chelsea will retain Christensen.
