Spanish football authorities are working hard to establish safe conditions for the continuation of the Primera season, which has been on hold for almost two months due to a coronavirus pandemic.
La Liga has given the green light for clubs to resume training and have said they are hopeful of restarting the 2019-20 season next month.
The first and most important thing that every club should do before returning to training is to test all the members. So, today, the players and the professional staff of Barcelona returned to the training center of the club, but only to have their test swabs taken.
The results are expected to arrive tomorrow, after which the negative cases will receive a training permit, while if there are positive ones, they will have to go through a new certain period in quarantine.
Barcelona are top of the table, two points ahead of Real Madrid, with 11 games left to play, when the competition was suspended indefinitely on March 23.
