Barcelona will face Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.

The Catalan giant’s fate will decide when Inter Milan takes on Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday evening.

The Czech side has lost all their four European games and would need a win or a draw to provide lifeline to Xavi’s men.

If Inter Milan manages to beat Viktoria Plzen, Barcelona will be demoted to the Europa League knockout stages for a straight second season.

Barcelona have been very poor in the Champions League this year and would struggle to fight against one of Europe’s best Bayern Munich.

“More than believing in miracles, we maintain a small hope that something can happen,” Xavi said in a news conference on Tuesday.

“Look, it’s complicated. We are in an uncomfortable situation where we no longer depend on ourselves, but you should never lose hope.

“We will meet at Camp Nou two hours before the Bayern game and we will be following the Inter match. We will all watch it together in the dressing room before we play.”
