Barcelona are preparing a final offer for Inter’s Lautaro Martinez as they prepare for a life without Luis Suarez.

The Argentinian striker is probably the highest on Barcelona’s wishlist and is touted to lead the club into the future.

Luis Suarez who joined Barcelona in 2014 would no longer be a part of the Catalan giants after new coach Ronald Koeman declared that the Uruguayan striker won’t be a part of the squad and should on the lookout for a new club.

The 33-year old still has one year left on his contract with a notable clause in it that would allow him to extend for a further year should he feature in more than 60 percent of matches.

Understandably, Luis Suarez would like his whole year’s salary of £12.5m paid out in full if he is to leave 12 months early.

According to various sources, Messi would like his friend Luis Suarez to stay at the club despite the fact that he is promised to Juventus.

On the other hand, Memphis Depay is also another option for the Catalan club due to his ties with Ronald Koeman at the Dutch international squad.

Lautaro Martinez would significantly earn less than Suarez per annum, but the only reason Barca wants the 23-year old Argentinian striker is to lead the club into the future.
