Barcelona are close to completing a deal for Lionel Messi.
At least that is what reputed journalist, Ferran Correas claimed.

“The professionals are doing their job well,” Barcelona president, Joan Laporta said. “We are very satisfied with how everything is progressing.
“But you know that it is a special market that requires patience, skill and sometimes some juggling. But I think, as the summer progresses, we will be able to give good news.”
Messi’s five year deal will see him at the club until he is 39. He has agreed to take a financial cut in the difficult cirumstances. But after all he is a club legend who deserves it all. Messi has won 10 La Liga titles, seven Copa del Reys and four Champions League trophies.
He recently captured the Copa America with Argentina.
