According to numerous reports, Barcelona is scheduled to hold a critical meeting today that may seal the deal in their pursuit of signing Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Dani Olmo’s agents and Leipzig officials met with Barça sporting director Deco on Monday night in an attempt to come to a mutually beneficial agreement. The player himself was present to convey his desire to join Barca this summer.

In addition to confirming the MD report, Fabrizio Romano provided another crucial detail: Barça is prepared to modify the conditions of their most recent offer, which was €55 million guaranteed plus an additional €7 million in add-ons, in order to persuade Leipzig to accept their offer.

Representatives of Olmo will meet with Deco

Fabrizio Romano, however, has learned that Olmo and his agent, Andy Bara, will travel to Leipzig today to discuss the player’s departure from the German team. As previously stated, there is already a contract agreement in place until 2030, and it is now up to the two clubs to complete the move after reaching an agreement regarding his payments.

Leipzig is requesting at least €60 million for its prized asset, and Barça has had two bids denied. In addition, the Bundesliga team rejects the Blaugrana’s demand for payment to be made in instalments. Olmo’s representative will thus now try to mediate the talks in order to get a resolution as soon as possible for his client’s future.
