Barcelona Responding To Ronald Koeman - Neto

Barcelona goalkeeper, Neto is feeling optimistic about Ronald Koeman’s influence in the team.

The Blaugrana played their second pre-season game against Girona, beating them 3-1.

Neto saw improvements in his team’s chemistry on the pitch and said, “We’ve gone from less to more in the game.

“We had more rhythm because we’ve had 10 to 12 days of real training. I see things positively. Each coach has their philosophy and way of playing and we have to understand that and adapt.”

“When there are changes in any job, everyone wants to show what they can do and give their best,” he added. “It’s no different with me.

“I’ll keep working hard, being happy and working as I need to. I feel good and I think we’re evolving well. We have to keep training at our best, that’s how football is. You always have to be prepared.”

While the initial signs are good, Barcelona are far from being a finished article. The uncertainties of last season still needs to be addressed through the transfer window. Key players will be moving out while some gaping holes will need to be plugged. Whether it will be in attack, midfield or defence, remains to be seen.
