Ousmane Dembele could leave Barcelona on a free.
That is the consensus surrounding the Frenchman and his contract situation.
Originally signed for over £100m, Dembele has failed to uphold standards at Camp Nou. After four seasons, he is hardly a regular and constantly struggling to remain fit. Barcelona will be forced to reduce his mammoth salary based on his performances but the player is likely to reject those terms.

Dembele only has a contract until June of next year. Unless he puts pen to paper on a new deal, he could even be banished to the stands. There is certainly plenty of interest still in him from outside clubs. The winger is only 23 and has a ceiling he can potentially hit under a more favourable environment.
One player Barcelona should be banking on heavily is Pedri. Even Andreas Iniesta recognized the youngster’s talents as he said, “He is a player who connects very well and who has that intelligence to think before receiving the ball, without forgetting that he is 18 years old and already is with the senior team and has played practically the whole season with his club.
“He is a kid who has to keep growing and learning. I know because I know him and I have spoken with him, he is a boy focused on what he has to do and he has things clear.
“When he plays, I see a player who is having a good time and is not thinking about other things than enjoying and playing.”
