Prior to the summer transfer window, Barcelona is the newest club to express interest in Roma forward Paulo Dybala

According to Calciomercatoweb, Barcelona and Manchester United have entered the competition for Dybala, who is thought to have been at his best while playing for Roma under Jose Mourinho.

The Argentine attacker is on pace to surpass his 2019–20 total of 17 goals and 14 assists with eight more goals and goals this season across all categories.

The 29-year-old’s contract, which reportedly has a £10.6 million release option and expires in 2025, has the Catalans’ interest piqued because Robert Lewandowski is their only legitimate goal scorer.

Marcus Rashford has been Manchester United’s primary goal scorer, so the club will be on the lookout for another attacker to help spread the load. However, with Roma having a strong chance of winning Champions League football, Dybala may decide to stay put, so this could be a rumor to watch this summer.
