Barcelona star will pen a long-term agreement until 2030 when he turns 18 next July.
Barcelona are planning to offer a new contract to their star player. Barca are ready to give a super contract to teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.
The 17-year-old has been a quality player for Barcelona and he could be a great future prospect. He can be the next Messi at Barcelona considering his form.
Yamal recently took part in Euro Championship and he went on to win the title for Spain. He has netted three goals and provided four assists in five matches this season.
Yamal was heavily linked with clubs like PSG who set a world-record bid to prise him away from Catalonia. The Catalan giants extended his contract to 2026 with a release clause of £845m.
Euro 2024 winner is also believed to be earning around €1.5m per year at Camp Nou. However, the club now recognise that they need to improve his contract conditions further.
The teenage sensation will pen a long-term agreement until 2030 when he turns 18 next July. Yamal became Barcelona’s youngest player for over 100 years when he made his debut as a 15-year-old in April 2023.
The 17-year-old has scored 10 goals and 13 assists in 56 games for the club. He won both the Young Player and Goal of the Tournament prizes at Euro 2024.
