Joan Laporta not prioritising Bernardo Silva signing at the moment.

The Catalan giants have been linked with the Portuguese maestro since the last summer and could table a bid for him after they manage to register their new signings.

Barcelona has spent around £140m by selling off various rights to support their disastrous financial situation.

They bought Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Jules Kounde this summer as well as signing Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie on free transfers.

The club recently sold a stake of Barça Studios to Socios for €100m.

Laporta believes the club needs to register these new signings before they can turn their head towards the Manchester City midfielder.

Laporta said: “Bernardo Silva? First we have to register the players we have signed and that’s what we’re working on.

“Also resolve the futures of the players not in the manager’s plans. First we have to do that. After, we will see what we can do. The coach wants more reinforcements.”
