Christensen joined Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta in planning to leave Stamford Bridge. La Blaugrana is monitoring the progress of the Danish international. They were also linked with Cesar Azpilicueta. Barca wants a top defender this summer.
As per the reports from Marca, Barca are monitoring the 25-year-old as an option, as Xavi looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the next season.
One thing is pretty sure that at least two defenders will move somewhere in summer. Rudiger is the most potential departure for the Blues.
If Barca gets at least one from Chelsea, they might form a strong defence for next season. They are already struggling in 2021/22 as they lost all the titles. Now, they can only aim for Europa League.
