Four more days until the end of the January transfer windows.
And the Blaugrana are yet to sign a striker.
Barcelona are set to beat Manchester United to Bruno Fernandes‘ signature, reports in Spain say. In a complex deal, the Blaugrana will then send him on a six-month loan deal to Valencia. In exchange, Rodrigo Moreno will move to the Camp Nou for the remainder of the season.
This is all according to Superdeporte, who that Barcelona’s plan is to sign the Portuguese’s team midfielder and leave him in Valencia on loan, which would, in turn, make Rodrigo Moreno’s signing cheaper. The negotiations are complicated, which is why the clubs are looking for ways to make sure all parties involved are satisfied.
💣 According to major Spanish sources, Barcelona are in advanced talks with Sporting CP to sign Bruno Fernandes, then loan to Valencia.

Barcelona would be gaining a quality player for the future and Valencia would getting a natural goalscorer for the rest of the season. The reports goes on that Valencia coach Celades has already agreed to bring Bruno Fernandes as a replacement. With his future ahead of him, the six months in Valencia would help him adapt.
Rodrigo Moreno did not train with the rest of his teammates in this Tuesday’s training session. COPE said the player had travelled to Barcelona to visit Dr. Cugat. The source also claims Valencia would be open to a swap deal for Barcelona’s Semedo, but Quique Setién’s club is not prepared to let him go.Â
