Marc Andre Ter Stegen has a new suitor.
The Barcelona goalkeeper who is currently one of the best in the world, is now a transfer target for Bayern Munich.
There has been plenty of reports of how Ter-Stegen is not happy at Barcelona. The club reportedly offer him a new deal as his current contract expires in the summer of 2022. However, the financial package was way below the average money a Barcelona senior member earns and the German goalkeeper is believed to have turned it down.
Ter-Stegen is now reportedly looking at options with Chelsea interested in him already and now Bayern joining the list. Bayern has hit a wall with their 33 year old goalkeeper Manuel Neuer who reportedly wants a huge contract as well.
In all probability, this move might not be the easiest since it was only as early as last year when Bayern chiefs who were still hero-worshipping Neuer insulted the German FA and Ter-Stegen after the Barca goalie was picked as first choice for Germany ahead of Neuer.Â
It seems too early for the blood to have cooled down between the two sides but never say never in football.
