Cubarsi, who had been performing admirably before the incident, was forced to leave the pitch in the 67th minute, making way for Sergi Dominguez.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick confirmed Cubarsi’s condition post-match, stating, “He needed stitches, but he’s fine.”
