Raphinha reveals he contemplated leaving Barcelona this summer
Barcelona’s Brazilian winger, Raphinha, has opened up about his thoughts of leaving the Catalan club during the summer transfer window.
With his crucial role in Xavi Hernandez’s squad, the 27-year-old admitted that he seriously considered a move away from Camp Nou.
Raphinha, who joined Barcelona from Leeds United last summer, had an impressive debut season with the club. His skillful performances on the wing contributed significantly to Barcelona’s attacking prowess.

The winger’s consideration stemmed from various factors, including the desire for new challenges and the ambition to play in different leagues.
Despite the interest from other clubs, Raphinha ultimately decided to stay put, motivated by his commitment to Barcelona’s ongoing project and his personal aspirations within the team.
“Ultimately, I felt that my journey with Barcelona was not finished,” Raphinha explained.
“There’s a lot more to achieve here, and I believe in what we’re building. I want to help this team win trophies and achieve our goals.”
His decision to remain at Barcelona signals his dedication and belief in the club’s vision.
