Barcelona's Title Hopes Over - Sergio Busquets

Sergio Busquets admits Barcelona’s La Liga hopes might be dead now.

After a 3-3 draw against Levante, Barca gave up a golden opportunity to go top of the table.

They now sit second with both Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid set to play this week. Busquets said, “We don’t have much chance left. It depends on what the others do, but there are very few points left to play for.”

“We started well and had the advantage,” Busquets said. “But, in the end, it was the same thing that has happened throughout the season – we made mistakes and they scored too easily.

“We weren’t accurate in the second half and they did well to recover It’s not only this game. There have been a lot. There was a time when we looked very good but we haven’t been like that lately.”

Barcelona still have to play two games and fans will be hoping to see the Madrid giants slip up at least once. Ronald Koeman has already delivered a title this season but winning the La Liga title would have definitely made a stronger case for his Camp Nou future.
