Barcelona is not just making news around Koeman as they are looking to add stability to their club. We usually don’t hear such stories where big clubs scouts players from a lower level. Reports claim that Spanish giants have scouted loanee who’s excelling with Walsall.

The Mirror reports that Brighton loanee Carl Rushworth is in Barcelona’s plan. The club have focused on him last season when he was on loan with  Worthing.

Carl Rushworth is an England youth international and he’s contracted to a Premier League. This young player has been impressive. He saved his fourth penalty of the season recently. He saved his fourth penalty of the season in the Saddlers’ 2-1 loss at Newport in League Two, followed by three saves against Doncaster in the EFL Cup last month.

The goalkeeper made six appearances in the Premier League South for Albion’s under-18s during the 2018/19 campaign. He moved up to join Albion’s under-23s ahead of the 2019/20 Premier League 2 campaign but signed for Worthing on a season-long loan in August 2019. His Brighton contract will run until 2023 so Barcelona can take him. A fee would be needed to make this transfer possible.
