Dani Alves could return to Barcelona at the age of 38.
The Blaugrana are currently looking for options to bring Dani Alves back to Camp Nou following the return of Xavi as the manager.
The Brazilian defender left Camp Nou in 2016 after a trophy-laden career with the Catalan giants but recently expressed his desire to come back to his former club.
“If Barca think they need me all they need to do is call,” Alves said, as per Diario Sport.
“I believe I can add things wherever I go but at Barca now especially with the youngsters they have.”
The 38-year old defender is currently a free agent after getting his contract terminated in September with Sao Paulo.
Club president Joan Laporta recently addressed a possible Dani Alves return.
“Dani Alvés is very active and trying to help the club in different aspects and he’s also offered his help from a sporting perspective,” Laporta said.
