Fermin Lopez addresses Barcelona future amid Man United links

Fermin was brought into the first team at Barcelona last summer.

Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez gives his views on his future at Camp Nou amid links with Manchester United. He has said that it is his “clear wish” to stay at Barcelona.

The Red Devils are believed to have make an offer of around £25m on the table for Fermin. He is the ideal transfer target for the Premier League club.

The 21-year-old will see his contract expiring at Camp Nou in the summer of 2027. He has revealed that he wants to stay at Barcelona. Fermin spoke to Mundo Deportivo, “I’d be happy to sign new deal at Barca, this club is my dream since I was a kid. I hope to stay at Barcelona for many years, it’s my clear wish.”

The Spaniard was on loan at Linares and represented the club on 40 occasions across all competitions. He has scored 12 times in the process.

Fermin was brought into the first team at Barcelona last summer. He appeared for 42 times across all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing one assist in the process.

The Spanish midfielder is currently playing in the Euro 2024. He scored the goal on eight occasions in 31 Spanish top-flight appearances.
