Ferran Torres joined Barcelona in the winter window.

The 22-year-old forward describes his move to Camp Nou as a ‘no brainer’.

He has quickly earned himself a regular spot in Xavi’s team scoring seven goals in 22 appearances and also bagging six assists in the process.

He struggled for a regular spot in the starting lineup at Manchester City and was unable to deliver decent performances for Pep Guardiol’s side.

The Spaniard explains the motive behind his decision to leave Man City despite the club’s immense success.

“I feel good. It’s a little hard to move clubs in January, but Manchester City let me leave easily”, Torres said.

“[City] were winning everything, but when you don’t have the opportunities you want, you consider other options. Xavi wanted me, and it was a no-brainer.”

“I’ve always said it, it was very clear to me. I went to City to return to one of the greats in Spain. I was prepared to assume this responsibility. I want to return Barca to the place where it deserves,” Torres added.
