Luis Suarez takes another dig at Barca coach Ronald Koeman.

The Atletico Madrid striker has blasted the club’s handling of his departure where coach Ronald Koeman phoned to inform him that he was no longer required.

The forward led Atletico Madrid to the La Liga title in his first campaign and that’s decision Barcelona would regret for the coming years.

Barcelona is currently struggling under manager Ronald Koeman and Suarez shared some more information on his controversial switch.

“The Koeman phone call to tell me that he was not counting on me lasted 40 seconds,” he told Gerard Romero’s ‘Jijantes FC’ Twitch channel, as per Marca.

Suarez added: “It is not the way to get rid of a legend.

“First he told me that I would not be in his plans and then he told me that if I did not resolve my contract I was going to play (in the first game of the season) against Villarreal.

“He lacked personality to tell me things clearly, if he did not love me or if it was really the club that did not love me.”
