Antoine Griezmann was a happy win after scoring 2 goals in last night’s win.
The French forward moved from Atletico Madrid for a record fee to Barcelona. He had a tough start to his career but now seems to be getting back to his best position.
Under Koeman, Griezmann is getting around to working his best position and gelling with Messi. The world cup winner was obviously a happy man.
“The first one wasn’t offside and that’s why I went for it,” Griezmann explained afterwards. “When Ousmane [Dembele] gives me the ball, I try to shoot and luckily it went in.
“They weren’t going in before but now it seems things are going well.”
“We needed the three points, to win and keep up this run,” Griezmann added. “I’m very happy for the work of the team. We have to keep getting all three points.
“We know [Granada] is a tough place to come and a difficult team [to face]. We started very well. We have to keep going like this.
“We have to pick up three points in every match, then we’ll see what happens. We have to keep up the good impression [we made] against Athletic.”
