After Barcelona lost their most recent game, head coach Hansi Flick expressed his anger with his team. Naturally, Barca made their league comeback last night when they travelled to Balaídos to play Celta Vigo.

When it was all over, a 2-2 draw meant that the Blaugrana had to settle for a portion of the money. This only happened, however, after Flick’s team gave up a two-goal lead in three minutes due to a late surrender. Several Barcelona players had an unwelcome part in it, with Marc Casadó and Jules Koundé being the most directly responsible.

Hansi Flick rages at ‘really bad’ Barcelona

As his team lost two crucial points and gave up a two-goal opportunity, Barcelona manager Flick was understandably irritated. The German coach publicly criticized his team after the draw for their poor performance throughout the game and for lacking confidence with the ball.

“It wasn’t just the last ten minutes,” the Barcelona manager stated in his press conference following the game. The entire match was the focus. Our game was awful. Honesty is required. We were insecure with the ball and committed numerous errors, including in the first half. We didn’t play the football we usually do. We were fortunate in certain circumstances, and ultimately, we earned a point. Since it cannot be repeated, we must respond.”

“We have to look forward, but these are things that can happen,” he continued. We just had one game and earned a point, which is the least negative thing, but neither the players nor we are thrilled. We can all play better than we did today.
