João Félix is reportedly eyeing a sensational return to Barcelona in the summer of 2027.
João Félix Plots Stunning Barcelona Return for 2027
The Portuguese forward, who previously spent the 2023/24 season on loan at the Catalan club, has informed his representatives of his desire to rejoin the La Liga champions as a free agent.
Félix, now 26, has revitalised his career in Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr. Since joining the club in 2025, he has rediscovered the form that once made him one of Europe’s most coveted talents.
Last season, he played a pivotal role in Al-Nassr’s league title triumph and earned the Saudi Pro League Player of the Year award.
His performances have also cemented his place in the Portuguese national team.
According to Diario Sport, Félix is determined to use this momentum to secure a move back to top-level European football.
His agent, Jorge Mendes, has already communicated the player’s ambitions to Barcelona officials.
The report states that Félix’s “big dream is to return to Barça on a free transfer” next summer.
Despite showing flashes of brilliance during his previous spell at the Camp Nou, he ultimately failed to convince the club’s hierarchy to sign him permanently from Atlético Madrid.
Barcelona has yet to respond to the approach. It remains to be seen whether the Spanish champions share Félix’s enthusiasm for a reunion.
The forward’s unquestionable quality is well known, but his past inconsistency raises questions about whether he fits into Barcelona’s long-term plans.
For now, Félix waits and hopes for a second chance in Catalonia.
