Jules Kounde also talked about his teammate Robert Lewandowski.
Jules Kounde was glad about his winning debut in Barcelona’s thumping victory against Real Valladolid. Catalan giants secured three points with a clean sheet.
Kounde was also one of the standout performers in Barcelona’s 4-0 victory on Sunday. The defender made his debut for the club after he was finally registered with LaLiga on Saturday.
The former Sevilla defender was in high spirits after the full-time whistle.
“I’ve felt comfortable in both positions, although I prefer to play as a centre-back,” he said, after debuting at right-back.
“I’ve been feeling good although I still have to learn concepts, but I’m doing well.
“I still have a while to go before I’m at my best. I came here to win titles and to keep progressing.
“I’m happy for the win. It’s very good for the team to continue to gain confidence.”
Robert Lewandowski was in sparkling form as he scored a brace on Sunday. The right-back talked about the Polish forward.
“We already knew the player we’d signed,” he explained.
“He’s a striker who has everything, he shows it with his goals and his play.
“He’s one of the best in the world and he helps us with his goals”.
