Antoine Griezmann could be heading out of Barcelona this summer.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Juventus are keen on signing him and are ready to offer Paulo Dybala in a swap deal.
The Old Lady previously carried out an exchange deal where they signed Arthur Melo from Barcelona and sent Miralem Pjanic and an extra €12m there way. Andrea Pirlo is interested in Griezmann despite the poor run of form he has been in.
Griezmann’s place in the France national team is not under any threat. Didier Deschamps made public assurances and tipped the forward to be back to his scoring form soon. What Barca’s main concern will be the finances.
Right now, the club is stuck in a terrible financial ordeal off the back of terrible transfer business. They need to sell most of their premium players but are struggling to find any value for them. Philippe Coutinho is one player who they would like to see the back of.
That might be why a swap deal could be preferred. Dybala is younger and has a different skill set that could be useful for Barcelona. Juventus face making difficult decisions about their players as well.
