Haaland’s eventual price is set to rise beyond €100m.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta has denied summer signing of Dortmund forward Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian is set to trigger a Europe-wide race for his signature ahead of the 2022/23 season. The 21-year-old is likely to make an exit from Borussia Dortmund.
His contract includes a €75m release clause at Bundesliga club and it will become active in June. Some top clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester City will fight for the Norway international.
His eventual price is set to rise beyond €100m. Barcelona were in the race to sign this young forward but they have ruled themselves out of the race.
As per reports from Diario Sport, Laporta claims: “We are not going to incorporate any player who alters the salary system.
Laporta also denied any Messi move for the summer as Barcelona is not interested in PSG forward.
