Abde Ezzalzouli’s services are worth up to €40 million to Leeds United
The source suggests the Moroccan international is of considerable interest to the Premier League club, which is currently engaged in the English relegation struggle, while also outlining prospective revenue streams for Barcelona in the upcoming summer.
At first, Barça’s Abde predicament seemed to be quite unimportant. There were even rumours that Xavi Hernandez would decide to keep him on the team for the upcoming campaign, especially because Raphinha and Ferren Torres’ futures at Camp Nou are in doubt.
Abde, a Moroccan international who has had a fantastic season on loan at CA Osasuna, could be seriously considered for sale by Barcelona if Leeds United is willing to pay €40 million for him. Abde has scored six goals since joining the team, most notably assisting Osasuna in advancing to the Copa Del Rey final. He was also a member of the Moroccan team that advanced to the World Cup semifinals last year.
When compared to the selling of other attackers, the transfer of Abde to Barcelona may logically make a lot of sense. Raphinha is apparently willing to go to the Premier League, although the move may not be financially successful given that the club still owes Leeds money for the Brazilian’s services.
For Torres, who is also unlikely to find many buyers, the same can be said. The fact that Mateu Alemany chose to stay at Camp Nou may have discouraged Aston Villa from continuing to pursue him. Ansu Fati, on the other hand, may bring in a large sum of money. However, it appears that his father has made it clear that the player will remain at Camp Nou this summer and compete for a spot in the starting lineup. Therefore, Abde can seem like a sale that makes sense from Barcelona’s perspective.
