In a recent interview with Sport Bild in Germany, Lewandowski talked about Bayern.

Robert Lewandowski’s move from Bayern Munich to Barcelona is widely regarded as one of the blockbuster transfers of the summer.

The Polish striker recently made his debut for Barceloan and he has not held back on sharing his appreciation for his time playing with the Bundesliga side.

Now in a recent interview with Sport Bild in Germany, Lewandowski believed facing Bayern in the Champions League group stages would be something from his nightmares.

“No! It doesn’t have to be in the group stage. That’s too early and it would be a weird feeling for me,” he said.

“My wish for the draw is: please not the ball with Bayern.”

But despite his wishes, the result could still happen and Lewandowski would only hope for a warm return to the Allianz Arena.

“I don’t know, I hope [I’m received] positively. I’ll only have positive memories from my time at Bayern. My story with FC Bayern will always remain in my heart.”

The draw for the Champions League group stages will take place on 25 August.
