Lewandowski is only thinking of a move to Camp Nou despite interest from PSG and Chelsea.
Robert Lewandowski’s agent Pini Zahavi has admitted that Bayern Munich is history for his client. It means the Polish striker is still looking to find a home in Barcelona.
Lewandowski is planning an exit from Allianz Arena this summer and Barcelona is his ultimate destination. The 33-year-old striker also had a discussion with Bayern and the club wants to see him for one more season in Bundesliga.
Now, his agent has opened up about the contract situation, stating that Lewandowski has no intentions to stay at Bayern and instead would try to seal a transfer to his dream club Barcelona.
Zahavi told BILD ( h/t Barca Blaugranes): “For Lewandowski, Bayern is history. Robert has the chance to move to the club he has always dreamt of.
“Of course you can keep Robert for another year, to be fair he has a contract until 2023, but I wouldn’t recommend that to you.
“[He is a] very intelligent person, not just the best striker in the world. He knows exactly what is happening around him and what FC Bayern had planned.
“So Robert knew all along that Bayern wanted to replace him with Haaland.”
Fabrizio Romano also reports that the 33-year-old striker is only thinking of a move to Camp Nou despite interest from PSG and Chelsea.
Barca are also said to have submitted their first offer to Poland international, which is around €30 million. Current manager Xavi also want him in the squad.
The main reason is Bayern are not intending to sell him before signing a replacement. They are having a talk with other players and they don’t want to sell their top player without seeing any replacement so they want him to stay for one more season.
