Barcelona star player Luis Suarez has been named as the La Liga’s player of the month of December.

He has scored thrice for Barcelona and assisted six times in 5 La Liga games. He presently has 14 goals in all rivalries. He has scored 11 in La Liga itself – which means the Uruguayan in third one behind Benzema (Real Madrid) and two behind colleague Leo Messi.Â
Luis Suarez has won 18 trophies in his career – and that includes 6 La Liga titles.Â
Suarez saw off challenge from Sevilla’s Diego Carlos and Getafe’s Angel Rodriguez to scoop the prize for the fourth time. The Barcelona striker began January in solid structure as well, scoring and aiding Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Espanyol.
When it comes to international successes, Suárez is Uruguay’s top goalscorer, and has played for his country at three seasons of the FIFA World Cup and three versions of the Copa América.
