Martin Braithwaite discusses possibility of leaving Camp Nou

Martin Braithwaite has no intention of leaving Camp Nou anytime soon.

The Dane striker is used as a back-up option to Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann and he is ready to fight for his place at the Catalan club.

Barcelona are looking for some striking options in the transfer market and any new arrivals would further batter Braithwaite down the pecking order.

“There is no option to leave Barça in this winter market. And not at the end of the season either. Next year I will continue to fight here for my goals. This season we have the chance to win many titles and this is my ambition. I don’t think about anything other than winning these trophies. That’s why I get up every morning and work so hard, “ Braithwaite told TV3.

“I like it that the club is looking for other players. It’s supposed to be like that at a club like this. You need to have competition. That’s the only way to get the most out of the players and the team in every game. It doesn’t scare me, it motivates me.”
