Martin Braithwaite has struggled for minutes last season at Camp Nou.
The 31-year-old striker made only four league appearances for Barca scoring two goals and one assist.
Last season, he went through a four-month hiatus through an injury.
The striker is very much aware that he is not part of Xavi’s plan and would force a move this summer.
Despite his struggles at Barcelona, he was called by Denmark for the Nations League who enjoyed a decent international campaign.
“I’ve played more in these four games than in the whole season there [at Barcelona],” Braithwaitetold TV 2 SPORT.
“It’s been fantastic and I’m very happy with the confidence Kasper has given me.
“I was well aware that I couldn’t count on coming in and starting every game, but I knew that in training and in the limited minutes I had, I had to convince Hjulmand that I was fit.
“I feel that I have shown that I am strong, that I am myself and that I have recovered from my injury.
“I am insanely happy, and insanely grateful for the trust they [Denmark’s coaching staff] have given me.”
