The Egyptian forward declined to rule out a move to Camp Nou in the near future.

Since his arrival at Anfield in 2017, Salah made his name in the history books for Liverpool.

He is currently Liverpool’s leading foreign goalscorer in the club’s history.

Salah is into his fourth year as a Liverpool player and he won the Premier League and Champions League with the Reds.

The Egyptian forward is linked with a Spanish switch and he admits that it’s a prospect he would not brush off.

He told AS: “I think Madrid and Barcelona are two top clubs. Who knows what will happen in the future.

“But right now I am focused on winning the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool again.”

“That’s a tough question,” he said when asked how much longer he could stay a Red.

“But right now I can say that everything is in the hands of the club. Of course I want to break records here and, I repeat, all the club records, but everything is in the hands of the club.”
